Cookie Policy

Draft — pending legal review.

This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is written to describe our actual practice honestly, but it is not legal advice and may not satisfy every requirement of every jurisdiction it reaches.

This site uses very few cookies, and none of them run until you say yes.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. They can remember a preference, or record how a site is used. Some are essential; most are not.

2. What we actually use

We run Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-NQ0PYCVSCN) to understand, in aggregate, which guides people read and which languages they need. That is the only analytics or tracking on this site.

We do not use a Meta/Facebook pixel, advertising cookies, retargeting, or any other third-party tracker. We do not run ads. We do not sell data.

3. Consent comes first

Analytics is gated behind Google Consent Mode v2. Until you accept, analytics storage is denied and no analytics cookie is set. If you decline, it stays denied. Declining costs you nothing — the whole site works either way.

4. Changing your mind

You can clear this site's cookies in your browser at any time, which resets the banner so you can choose again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings, or use your browser's private mode.

5. Changes

If we ever add another tool, this page will be updated before it goes live, and the banner will ask you again.
